We’re making progress. Left El Paso about 8 AM this morning. On arriving at Van Horn (beep-beep) we found that we had entered the central time zone. We advanced our watches an hour, from 11:30 to 12:30. Since we had eaten a large breakfast at Flying J, we weren’t yet hungry, so we continued on to Fort Stockton. We arrived around 2:30 PM CST. Had some McDonalds for lunch, and are now ensconced in the Comanche Land RV Park. This is a large gravel field with hookups, a mix of 30 and 50 amp electricity. All sites have water, sewer and cable TV. For 16 dollars, we’re pretty happy.
